Fantails

It’s a bread of fancy pigeons. It have a fan-shaped tail composed of 30 to 40 feathers, these type of pigeons have more feathers then other, other pigeons have usually 12 to 14 feathers. Their Child birth process is 22 Days from given eggs days. Fantail mostly found in, Pakistan, India, China and Spain. Mostly these pigeons don’t fly too much. There are some other types called silky or lace fantails. There are some Ribbons fantail, English fantail, Thai fantail & Indian fantails. Like all the Fancy pigeons these have their own grace, these are from the most of loving birds in the world. 


English Fantail
The Fantail is a popular breed of fancy pigeon. It is characterised by a fan-shaped tail composed of 30 to 40 feathers, abnormally more than most members of the pigeon family, which usually have 12 to 14 feathers. The breed is thought to have originated in India, China or Spain. There are several subvarieties, such as the English Fantail, the Indian Fantail, and the Thai Fantail. Charles Darwin used it as one of the examples in the first chapter of On The Origin Of Species
